Our prices are highly competitive for the Alberta Rockies,
offering exceptional value for small-group fully guided adventures.

Trip Options & Pricing

Group Camping Trips

  • $1,200 per person for 3 days, 2 nights

  • $1,400 per person for 4 days, 3 nights

  • Adults only (ages 25+)

Private Camping Trips

  • $1,200 per adult for 3 days, 2 nights

  • $1,400 per adult for 4 days, 3 nights

  • Children (ages 12+) welcome at $800 per child (max 2 children per paying adult)

  • Minimum total: $3,000 (3 days), $3,500 (4 days)

  • Perfect for families and close friends who want exclusivity and flexibility

All prices are in Canadian Dollars incl. mandatory 5% GST. No hidden fees, prices are all-inclusive.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • A 35% deposit is required to confirm your reservation

  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before your trip starts

  • Full refund if you cancel 4+ weeks before the trip

  • For cancellations within 4 weeks of departure, deposits are non-refundable

  • Exceptions may be made for emergencies at our discretion, just reach out if something unexpected happens

  • Pricing is tailored to your preferences and the unique experience we create together

Credit & Weather Policy

  • If we must cancel your trip prior to departure (severe weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen events):

    • International guests: full refund

    • Alberta residents: full credit toward a future trip

  • If weather or other conditions require changes during your trip, we’ll collaborate to find the best solution. Extra costs (e.g., alternate accommodation) are at your own expense, but we’ll always support you

Who Can Join

  • Group trips: Adults only (ages 25+)

  • Private trips: Adults, plus children ages 12+ (maximum 2 per adult/guardian)

  • All guests must be in good health and physically ready for moderate hiking and outdoor activity

  • Experience not suitable for those needing frequent or urgent medical care, requiring modern comforts such as showers/toilets, or unable to disconnect from phones/Wi-Fi

Personalized Guest Experience & Safety

  • All guests fill out a fitness and medical intake form (including allergies) and sign a waiver before securing their booking

  • Every booking begins with a video call to discuss the trip, set expectations, and ensure the right fit for a unique and personalized experience

  • Guides are fully certified: wilderness first aid, wildlife and bear safety, fire safety, food handling

Schedule & Logistics

3 Day, 2 Night Trips (Friday to Sunday)

  • Depart from Calgary on Friday at 10am (meet in front of Safeway Beltline, Downtown Calgary)

  • For guests with their own transportation, our second meeting spot is at The Stop Coffee House & Gathering Place in Diamond Valley at 11am

  • We always stop here for coffee as a group before entering the mountains, so you can choose to meet us in Calgary or Diamond Valley, just let us know in advance where you’ll join

  • The total drive time from Calgary to the camping area is 2.5 hours (the last 30 minutes are on a well-maintained gravel road)

  • Return to Calgary on Sunday late afternoon

4 Day, 3 Night Trips (Monday to Thursday)

  • Depart from Calgary on Friday at 10am (meet in front of Safeway Beltline, Downtown Calgary)

  • For guests with their own transportation, our second meeting spot is at The Stop Coffee House & Gathering Place in Diamond Valley at 11am

  • We always stop here for coffee as a group before entering the mountains, so you can choose to meet us in Calgary or Diamond Valley, just let us know in advance where you’ll join

  • The total drive time from Calgary to the camping area is 2.5 hours (the last 30 minutes are on a well-maintained gravel road)

  • Return to Calgary on Sunday late afternoon

Trips are available from May 1st to November 1st.

What’s Included

  • Experienced guide for the whole trip (wilderness first aid, bear safety, fire and food safety certified)

  • All meals (hearty breakfast and dinner, often include eggs and meat; please read below for dietary details)

  • Comfortable bell tent accommodations, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, pillow, and camp chairs

  • Firewood, coffee, tea, drinking water, and up to 3 guided hikes with wildlife interpretation

  • Transportation from Calgary if needed

  • All necessary group gear and safety equipment

  • Campfires follow all regulations, propane fire pit is used if a fire ban is in effect

Meals & Dietary Needs

  • We prepare hearty meals with eggs and meat

  • Vegetarian and pescatarian options are available with at least 2 weeks’ notice before your trip (when the balance is due)

  • No vegan options

  • Please detail any allergies in advance on your intake form

Packing & Luggage

  • Please bring: one daypack (for hikes) and one duffel bag or a small trolley/ carry-on  (for personal clothing/gear)

  • If you’re staying at a hotel (like Best Western Plus Suites, two streets south of Safeway), most allow you to store suitcases for the duration of your trip

  • If hotel storage isn’t an option, let your guide know before departure and we’ll help arrange an alternative

Accommodation Before and After Your Trip

If you’re arriving in Calgary before your adventure or staying afterward, a good option is

the Best Western Plus Suites. Conveniently located just two streets south of our Calgary meeting point (Safeway Beltline), this hotel is known for being very reasonably priced and offers excellent value.

Wildlife Safety

  • All guests are briefed on wildlife safety and responsible practices

  • Bear spray is available for guests to carry, no need to purchase your own

Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend arranging your own travel or adventure insurance (not included)

Gratuities

Tipping isn’t required, but it’s a thoughtful way to say thanks if your guide made your trip extra special. In Canada, 10–20% of your trip price is common. Tips can be offered in cash directly to your guide (recommended for them to receive the full amount), or by card after your trip. Again, tipping is at your own discretion and never mandatory.
